A question from a customer last night:
“Is there a list of software applications that work with Windows Vista?”
Check out Microsoft Knowledge Base article 933305, “Applications that have earned the “Certified for Windows Vista” logo or the “Works with Windows Vista” logo.”
And if you are wondering about current Adobe products that support Windows Vista, check out Adobe’s Vista-compatible products list.

I love how the Adobe document simply says that such-n-such software was shipped before Vista or Office. As if they we caught completly "off-guard" and had no idea the new Microsoft software was going to be released.
So basically, Adobe is saying that some of their stuff may work, but they can not guarantee it — so please wait to purchase updated Adobe releases.
Or did I miss something?
It’s hard to say what’s up with Adobe. I know that one of my favourite apps and systems, Avid/Digidesign’s ProTools LE on the digi 002 console, it not yet updated for Vista, so I have an XP machine dedicated to it at home. The Vista-compatible version is due this summer, but it’s not clear what additional or enhanced functionality we’ll see in the new version.
